ASSESSING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY OF
THE GRADUATING STUDENTS ENTERING THE WORKFORCE
English language skills are very essential in the globally competitive marketplace. Traditionally, the Philippines boasts
of its English language proficiency as a competitive advantage over its other Asian countries.
It has become very evident that finding skilled workers or employees with good English communication skills is a big challenge for the Human Resource/Recruitment department. The graduating students need to be ready for this major leap for future employment,
