SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES USE TOEIC AS A MEASUREMENT OF ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS

An increasing number of universities and schools, particularly in engineering, business, allied health professionals and nursing departments, require that their students take the TOEIC test prior to graduation. These institutions recognize the importance of English skills in today's global workplace. They also see the TOEIC test as an effective tool to help new graduates integrate into the professional world.

Teachers and administrators need to be tested to help them ensure their English language skills competency and identify language training needs for both their professional advancement and personal improvement.

Appropriate uses for universities/schools may include:

School to work transition - a TOEIC score level is required by individual institutions as part of their students' overall education. This level is often established by educational institutions in collaboration with employers to ensure that graduates possess sufficient English language ability to participate effectively in the workplace.

Testing at your School

On-site testing is available in institutions upon request. Kindly contact your school administrator for more information.

If TOEIC is not offered in your School

School administrators can refer their students in Hopkins Makati or in any Hopkins provincial test sites.
